Hi there, first of all, impressive Last Exile wall, and secondly sorry to bother you but I have to ask, how do you give your vector art, like the chara on Last Exile wall, that blurry but clear effect?? How did you painted it? all in Illustrator?? the strokes are made manually or is a brush?? I mean the ones that starts very thin and ends wider...

You mean the overlayish glow that makes little shadows? I vectored the image in Photoshop, and when I was done the vector, I flattened it. Then I duplicated the layer, gave it a 4px gaussian blur and set the layer to Multiply. Then I duplicated that layer and set it to Overlay. Then I played with the opacity levels and saturation. ;)
As for the outlines, I created shapes with the pen tool and filled them with black, instead of stroking paths. ^^
